Roadside billboards have a glamour problem: they look impressive and cost a fortune, but the maths rarely works for anyone but the biggest brands. Indoor digital screens flip that equation — more attention, more relevance, and a fraction of the price.
The billboard problem
A driver passing a roadside billboard sees it for a second or two, often at 60–80 km/h, usually while concentrating on the road. Your message competes with traffic, other signage and the simple fact that nobody looks up for long. And you pay handsomely for that fleeting glance — premium outdoor digital sites in Pakistan run between PKR 400,000 and 1,200,000 per month.
The indoor advantage
Now picture the same person inside a mall or cash & carry. They're on foot. They're relaxed. They spend 20 to 45 minutes in the space, and they pass your screen more than once — at the entrance, in an aisle, at the till. Crucially, they're already in a buying mindset. Your ad reaches them at the point of decision, not on the motorway home.
- Dwell time. Minutes of presence instead of a passing second.
- Repetition. The same visitor sees the screen several times per trip.
- Context. A food ad next to the food aisle; a bank ad where people are already spending.
- Attention. Indoors, a bright motion screen stands out far more than it would in a cluttered streetscape.
The economics
Because a single indoor screen serves a dense, captive stream of people, the cost per real, attentive impression is dramatically lower. CityWide slots start at PKR 12,000 per week — roughly one to two percent of a premium billboard's monthly rate — while reaching an audience that's arguably more valuable.
And you can measure it
Billboards are famously hard to measure. With a managed indoor network, every campaign comes with footfall figures, impression estimates and play counts. You know how many times your ad ran, in which locations, in front of how many people — so you can prove the return and refine the next campaign.
